That was a bargain, since one of the apps in the studio, Color, used to cost $25,000 before Apple bought it out. In fact, up until recently, Final Cut Studio used to cost $999. This is what the majority of Hollywood uses basically. You can also buy Final Cut Pro X for only $299, if you have Snow Leopard.
It is THE best consumer video editing program for any OS.
